Well... FINALLY.

FINALLY.

FINALLY.

There is a section outing! MY BELOVED SAXOPHONE SECTION.

Haha. Let's get over with this first. Or you'd pick up a brick and throw it the this computer screen. Hehe. Let me describe the days leading up to and after Christmas first though.

On the 19 Dec, we had our last band practice and performance for the year. It was the Sec Registration Day, so we had to perform. We played a new piece, "Shrek Dance Party" on that day, with spending only around like 3 practices playing that song in band. Wow.

Well, the rehearsal was ok, but when the real one began, someone squeaked. Sigh. No offence, but I think it came from the clarinet section, since I will be able to know who did it if it were my section. Really, no offence. And then the key personnel droned on and on about the school. The poor new students had to sit on the hard hard floor and I pitied them. I mean, my batch got to sit on chairs, haha. And they were paying so much attention to the stupid video too. HAHA.

After the performance, we had band practice. We also had marching the days before... Sad. But the product was damn damn funny. And poor me have to raise my head so high up so that I could march properly while playing nicely. Seriously, I think we should just change our name to Fuhua Symphonic or Concert Band. That would make our lives much easier. :D

I went to Jurong Point on Christmas Day for the second time since the new extension opened. I even bought lots of things there, like for example...

A BRAND NEW LAPTOP!

YES! Well, my dad just walked into the Sony Style shop, and my mum and me browsed through the models... So we came across this model, VAIO CS18GN, and my dad asked, do you want this? I replied, why not, the memory and RAM's big, it's got good processor and nice design... And he just bought it. Like that. Shocked me man. And I got lots of free gifts with it, like a special carry case for VAIO models, a new kind of thumbdrive, a cardreader, a VAIO mouse and the lucky draw prize - a pair of cool HI-FI headphones... I think they all cost a total of up to $300! COOL RIGHT?! I'm currently using it, and it's sooooo nice. Plus, mine's Vista Business, though not very good... I'm so happy.

I am currently watching, or rather, re-watching for the umpteenth time, a new Korean drama... ILJIMAE [일지매]! I was at first watching it for the sake of Lee Jun Ki [이준기], as you know I kinda like him, heh. Then I got hooked onto its wonderful music, and the acting, I mean, they are simply fantastic! Especially Lee Moon Shik and Lee Jun Ki. Haha. I went and watched the whole series online after watching just 3 episodes on TV, and after watching the whole series the 3rd time, I managed to persuade my parents to buy its DVD. Next, I'm so gonna get its OST, even though I have already downloaded it, haha. :P

And I want to learn Korean too.

On the 27th of December, we had our annual band BBQ, though I think this year's one is a failure. Sigh. And I only ate a stick of satay... :( I PAY $3 FOR IT TOO. Shouldn't I get more? Argh. Anyway, only 5/9 of my section turned up too. I swear I'm gonna go mad. Really mad. What's with the poor attendance? If I become SL, I'm gonna make sure people turn up when they are supposed to. But I won't be one anyway. Heh.

Today... (Oh the climax!) We had a section outing! Though only like 4/9 of the section turned up, and we were, me (OBVIOUSLY), Jiexiang, Siyuan and Zhian. Again. Jiexiang and I were quite disappointed too. It was my idea, and our planning. We were supposed to go to Escape Theme Park, but because the "Rainbow" "Inverter" were closed, we lost interest in it. Instead, we went to the Ehub (?) Cathay to catch a movie, "YESMAN". Boy it was funny. The guy, Carl, had to say yes to every single thing, or bad things will happen to him... It was pretty hilarious, cause he ended up having ... with his old old neighbour, all because when he said no, bad things did happen to him, like falling off the stairs, etc. EEK. And the ending was so good, the people who were going to this seminar about being a YESMAN were all naked. Ha. All because they can't say no. I think Carl went to ask them if they can donate all their clothes, and they had to say yes. Haha. There were parts where we got to see Carl's naked butt cause he was in the hospital gown, as he got into an accident, when he scared the creator of YESMAN, Terence, while Terence was driving. Hehe. And at the beginning, Terence was describing Carl's situation, and he said one sweet sweet line, "You can't even master the euthusiasm to masturbate." LOL.
Man, I really love my section. They are the best! Well, it would be months before we can enjoy like this again. And the Sec 4s '09 will be leaving!!! NO! Sigh.

Let's end the year on a happier note.
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!

PS: My birthday is on SATURDAY! 3 Jan, haha. And Teppei's birthday is on Monday, 5 Jan!!! WOOTS. I'm 15 years old!
PPS: Here's the class allocation for next year. Sad man, look at my class, 3S1, and 3S5. Sigh.

Gosh I'm so sorry for not updating in nearly a month! My posts are scarce in this deserted area on the Internet. Hard to get my butt moving to start updating nowadays. Was really busy with school work and all, and of course personal stuff...Anyway, I shall just update you on my past events...

Bought a Sony PSP, finally! Been nagging for a long time since I saw a game that I really wanted being released on it. So what if I'm late? As long as I get one, I'm happy. It's the limited edition God of War pack too! But it was my brother who bought it, so it's not completely mine yet... Sigh.Instead, I went to Challenger at Funan and got another Nintendo DS Lite bundled with Guitar Hero On Tour. Ha. Since I don't have an XBOX360 (I got only XBOX), I shall play it on the DS! I finished the 'easy' part in a day too. Nothing too difficult since it's only using 3 fingers to press the frets. Well, the songs are pretty nice...

Band camp was from 12-14 Nov this year. I was actually a leader, but due to me going overseas soon, I backed out. Was in Group 5, and we rock! On the first day, we had band practice and group lunch. Then we had band practice again and after that, we played Captain's Ball. My group was a finalist! But due to time constraints, we had to stop. So no winner. We ate dinner which the guys went out to buy, and showered during the waiting time for them to be back. At night, we watched a movie called "Big Momma's House 2" and boy it was hilarious! Love the movie, especially the beach part. ROFL. On the second morning, I went home first before going back to school for the 2nd part. Was gonna go Malaysia the next morning, so I went home to make preparations.
We had instrument polishing and cleaning of the band store before lunch. And the alumni helped to clean the band store. The trombone section was severely scolded, so my section was a little scared since 2 of our instrument stands also spoiled. QianYu and I then went around the school looking for screws. Then we became crazy and kept laughing. Our dear SL papa thought we went mad. Lol. Chienwei went out to buy lunch for us amid the rain... So nice right! I had to polish 2 instruments since one of them is unused and used to be mine... But ZhiAn played on that recently! Sigh. Who ask me to be senior? Chienwei left his umbrella in a plastic bag and Ms Lai thought it was a rubbish and told us to get rid of it. LOL. Played "Kidnapped", which had the same logic as Amazing Race, only to have someone being kidnapped (thus the name, duh), in the afternoon. After that, I went home...

Went to Malaysia on the 14 of Nov to 17 Nov, so I missed the Open House... But who cares? ZhiAn played solo, so he should be sooooooo happy. I still miss playing alto though. HA. We left at 7am+ on the first day, stopped by some places for breakfast and the went to a restaurant for lunch. There was my favourite sharkfin soup, though it was a little cheapskate, since they put lots of tofu in it. Argh. Then we rode up to Genting, and reached there around 4pm+. Sigh, didn't get to play at the theme park this time... No one wanted to go with me too... Ate at a seafood restaurant there, though I didn't really enjoy. I wanted baby squids, but there wasn't any at all! Throughout the whole trip too! Damn.Walked around the shopping area and bought lots of stuff for my friends. I have lots of things to buy this time around too, since I didn't buy much from Japan. Hey, it's expensive there...Bought 'Kyou Kara Maou!' Season 1-2 DVDs from a video shop, and I was so thrilled! I mean, it's so hard to find it everywhere, even on the Internet... Saw Bleach Movie 2: DiamondDust Rebellion, but wasn't bothered to buy... Japan's version is wayyyyyyy cooler, and costs 3x-4x as much bah. Sigh.On the second day, my family and I went off secretly to KL, with 2 of my dad's colleagues, and away from the tour... Ha. I think we went to this area where it's kind of like Orchard Road, but less elegant. There was this huge shopping centre called 'Pavillion' and it was separated into 2 parts, one part is normal shopping while the other has shops like Gucci and Chanel in it, more expensive stuff so yeah... Bought a pair of Diesel jeans, a Billabong cap from there. I also bought a pair of sunglasses and 'Gravitation' DVDs from another shopping mall, with its OVA included in the package. Wow, anime seem to be widespread here... Sweet. Checked into our hotel and we went off for dinner... At Ichiban Sushi Restaurant, yeah! It was bloody cheap in terms of SGD too. My set consists of soba and Katsudon, and it only cost like SGD14. Lol.The last day we went to this place, somewhat like the government's place... And took photos there. Lame. I hate company trips. :PWent shopping one last time and we were to eat dinner at this restaurant. Due to a breakdown of a bus, dinner was delayed till 9pm+, damn them. The dishes were cold and I was fed-up with all the drunkards or what-nots singing karaoke there. I know it's the company dinner, but they still pissed me off. Damn them. Sigh. Anyway, after we reached Singapore, we alighted from the tour bus and took a taxi straight home. They were planning to go back to the company. Workoholics.

Well, in conclusion, the trip wasn't really fun at all. Unlike the time we went to Penang. I had actually wanted to go to school, for band. But it spoiled my plannings. I know we were playing Latin Favourites and When You Believe for the Open House too. There were some solo parts for us too! Hoped my little junior played loud enough. He can't be heard without me, muwhaha! Chienwei had to make him play loud so many times... :D

Nothing much happened after that though.
But before that, on the 10th Nov, our posting results came out. I got into my first choice, so no fuss.I chose Double Humanities-Pure Geography, so I got into 3S1.
Lucky for me, PeiXuan, WenHui and YingKiat, together with some other friends. Yay. At least I'm not really alone. Well, I still get to bully Wenhui, :P.

Anyway, I bought another PSP again, haha. This time around, it's the Limited Edition Sports Pack, though I'm not interested in the game or movie... I just want the console.
PSP3000 came out too, but I don't want that. It can't be modified, so what's the point? I'm currently downloading FF7 for PSP now, since I found a way to play PS1 games on the PSP. My PS1 is like dead already... I still have my PS2 and XBOX though. And a couple of Nintendo DS Lite, Gameboy SP, Advance...

I still have tons of homework to do too. And I just came back from my Japanese Pre-Advance 3 class. I'm so sure Mizuzaki-sensei won't let me promote now, I totally like suck. Just her medical leave gave me too long a break. Sigh. I WANT TO GO ADVANCE CLASS!!!

I shall try to update soon, I hope. Next week, there will be a performance for the Sec1 Registration, so most probably I will update then... So till then, please check back!

Song: 愛しているから by 亀梨和也 (Because I Love You by Kame)
Lyrics: (will provide romanji or translation soon.)
